I liked the location. It was close to many restaurants and the subway was just a five-minute walk. Having coffee and tea available in the morning helped start each day well. On one morning I enjoyed a coffee while watching the bustle outside, which I appreciated as a traveler from Italy.

The room was small and did not have windows, which I found a bit challenging. I could hear conversations from other guests clearly, making it hard to relax sometimes.

The location is hard to beat, nestled between Canal Street and Grand Street subways, making it easy to explore. Clean towels and air conditioning provided some comfort during the stay.

Access to the hotel requires navigating two flights of stairs, which isn't ideal if you're dragging luggage along. The rooms, while clean, are cramped, lacking windows and feeling a bit like overstuffed closets. Noise travels easily through the thin walls, so if someone next door is snoring, you're likely to hear it clear as day. Shared bathrooms didn't see a cleaning for three days, leaving them feeling a bit neglected. While the concept of free coffee and tea is nice, the lack of communal areas can make the place feel a bit isolating.

Great spot near Chinatown and subway. Room was clean, with air conditioning, and had a private bathroom. Good wifi and they kept the bathrooms tidy, never waited for one. Staff was friendly. No communal area, but there’s a fridge and computers by reception.

Just fyi, the thin walls made it easy to hear neighbors snoring and chatting, which wasn't ideal. Would def come back if I just need a place to crash.
